This cover is needed when removing the SAS valve to close the opening on the airbox.

In gasoline engines, the secondary air valve is activated during a cold start in order to minimize the exhaust gas components HC and CO in the warm-up phase. Oxygen-rich ambient air flows past the combustion chamber and directly into the exhaust ducts. There, the unburned exhaust gas components are "afterburned", which reduces pollutant emissions and also brings the catalytic converter up to operating temperature more quickly.

This system was developed primarily with a view to the EURO emissions standards. When converting a bike to race track use (without catalytic converter, etc.), we recommend removing the side air system (SAS).

Returns Policy

EU customers have a 14-day right of return from the day the goods are received. The goods must be unused, with tags attached and in the original packaging.

All returns must be pre-approved: e-mail info@mrttech.ee within 14 days of receiving the goods, stating the order number, and wait for our written confirmation before sending anything back. Return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer.

Once we have received and inspected the returned goods, we issue the refund within 14 days. Where possible we refund using the original payment method (for example PayPal or Stripe), otherwise by bank transfer.

Shipping

Parcel machine (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland) — €9.90. Courier (non-express) — from €19.00, within the EU and internationally, with the exact cost calculated at checkout. Collection in store at Taevakivi 1, Tallinn — free. Free delivery on orders of €500 or more. Prices include VAT where applicable.

In-stock items are normally dispatched within 1–3 working days from release from our warehouse. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees — some items may take longer, for example when ordered in specially or during stock or supplier delays. We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control, but we always make reasonable efforts to deliver at the earliest opportunity.
