Exchanging the front fork springs is one of the most cost effective way to improve the bike's front fork. Together with the specifically developed high-quality oil from Öhlins, a considerable improvement in the responsiveness and performance of an original fork can be achieved.

Öhlins offers a wide range of linear springs to suit each individual type of bike, rider weight and personal preferences for installation into the standard front fork. Well chosen material and high-end manufacturing guarantee less the 1,5% difference regarding spring rate.

Notes

The oil level is measured with front fork completely compressed, without spring and pre load tube.

Fits models with Öhlins fork FL 923! Comes with 3 different spring rates: 9, 9.5 & 10N/mm. It is recommended to contact an authorised ÖHLINS Service Center for installation.

ESA version can get warning light in display, this does not affect bikes performance.

How to Read Öhlins Spring Numbers

The numbers are separated by slashes and always follow this order:

Diameter / Free Length / Spring Rate
Some springs add the stroke: Diameter / Free Length / Stroke / Spring Rate

  • Diameter (mm): the size of the spring, so it fits your shock or fork. A range (e.g., 65.5-63.5) means the diameter changes along the spring.
  • Free Length (mm): the uncompressed length from end to end.
  • Stroke (mm): only when 4 numbers are given. How far the spring can compress before the coils touch.
  • Spring Rate (N/mm): the stiffness. One number (e.g., 90) is linear, the same stiffness throughout. A range (e.g., 22-30) is progressive, getting stiffer as it compresses.
  • Tapered: one end of the spring is narrower. The diameter shown is the main body.

Examples

  • 57/200/90: 57 mm diameter, 200 mm long, 90 N/mm linear.
  • 65.5-63.5/255/60: 65.5–63.5 mm diameter, 255 mm long, 60 N/mm linear.
  • 46-55/240/135/22-30: 46–55 mm diameter, 240 mm long, 135 mm stroke, 22–30 N/mm progressive.
  • 35.9/290/9.0 Tapered: 35.9 mm diameter, 290 mm long, 9.0 N/mm linear, one narrower end.

EU/EEA customers have a 14-day right of return from the day the goods are received. The goods must be unused, with tags attached and in the original packaging.

All returns must be pre-approved: e-mail info@mrttech.ee within 14 days of receiving the goods, stating the order number, and wait for our written confirmation before sending anything back. Return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer.

Once we have received and inspected the returned goods, we issue the refund within 14 days. Where possible we refund using the original payment method (for example PayPal or Stripe), otherwise by bank transfer.

Shipping

Parcel machine (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland) – €9.90. Courier (non-express) – from €19.00, within the EU and internationally, with the exact cost calculated at checkout. Collection in store at Taevakivi 1, Tallinn – free. Free delivery on orders of €500 or more. Prices include VAT where applicable.

In-stock items are normally dispatched within 1–3 working days from release from our warehouse. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees — some items may take longer, for example when ordered in specially or during stock or supplier delays. We are not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control, but we always make reasonable efforts to deliver at the earliest opportunity.
