*The 2008 and 2009 model years of the Honda 1000RR use an undertail where the OEM fender is one solid piece with the OEM undertail itself. The only ways to remove the OEM fender off the back of a 08-09 model is to 1) cut it off (you don't want to do this), or 2) purchase an updated undertail piece that doesn't have an OEM fender connected to it. We provide this updated undertail in our CBR1000RR Undertail for 2008-2009 Models listing. After purchasing this updated undertail (which already includes our undertail closeout, by the way), 08-09 CBR owners can use this fender eliminator (the product you are currently looking at) on their bike and have a completely transformed tail section of their ride.

Description

If you've eliminated or are looking to eliminate that bulky rear fender, here's the license plate mount for you! The bracket mounts to the black plastic subframe closeout beneath the battery tray. You will need to drill two 1/4" holes through this plastic. If at any point you no longer want to use this bracket on your bike, you simply uninstall it and put in two black pushpins to block off the holes you drilled for the installation.

Please note that our bracket is designed for U.S. plates and fits a hole spacing of 5.09 to 6.16 with 5mm hardware. It is your responsibility to verify fitment before making your purchase.
