Description

When it comes to squeezing more performance out of the Grom's 125cc powerplant, the airbox is an obvious target for improvement, and now with our exclusive Airbox Cover, you can gain noticeable power performance with bolt-on ease. Each airbox cover is manufactured from ABS polymer alloy to be color and texture matched to the OEM cover, providing a stealth and ""factory performance part"" appearance for your Grom. There's no need for an aftermarket air filter either. We rigorously tested this cover design with a number of different filters, as well as without a filter altogether, and found that the stock filter was perfectly capable of taking advantage of the increased airflow. We even saw a power decrease when running the Grom without an air filter altogether. In ideal conditions, we found that this airbox cover increases not only low end power, but high end power, too. While testing in our WORX dyno facility in Florida, we saw up to 9% gains at certain RPMs. But that's not the only improvement you'll notice. Our Airbox Cover improves the sound of your Grom by enabling more air intake and increasing that intake roar we all know and love. The 2022 Honda Grom used for testing was outfitted with the Yoshimura RS 9T Full System Exhaust, tuned aRacer RCMini5 ECU, and stock air filter for all tests.
