Description

As soon as the new 2015 Yamaha R1 arrived at our shop, our engineers went right to work to design the most versatile fender eliminator system that is on the market. We have designed an entire system that offers the option of an Adjustable license plate bracket that enables you to have two different mounting locations, either in place of the OEM fender or deep on the undertail. Or, we have a Fixed license plate bracket that still ditches the OEM fender, but is also more budget-friendly. We wanted to add some additional unique elements as well so we designed our Adjustable Bracket it in a way that the angle of the license plate can be varied giving you full control over your plate placement. We then designed one of our popular undertail closeouts for the void left behind by the fender and added an optional bracket to enable re-mounting of the OEM rear signals. Our Standard license plate bracket is manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a black powder coat finish and mounts in the OEM fender location. With the added option of the Adjustable Bracket, the entire system is executed in CNC machined alloy aluminum with a durable anodized finish. The shape of the closeout is sculpt machined to match the exotic lines of the R1. The adjustability of the optional Adjustable Bracket license plate mount gives the user the ability to fine-tune the hanging angle of the tag, and the component modularity gives the installer the flexibility to choose one of two great mounting locations (Please note that installation on the undertail requires that your license plate have bottom holes like the one in our photos). This setup is hands down the most advanced and exciting tail tidy available for the new Yamaha YZF R1 and R1M, and is a true testament to TST ingenuity!
